Remember when you were being chased around the playground by the "cute kid". He was IT. You were running for dear life and trying not to get "frozen". The teacher blows the whistle. Recess is over. Jog over to the line and dream about the 5 second water fountain drink that lie ahead. Recess. The most fabulous, joyous, freeing, moments of your day. You were, invincible.
It's all about the slide now. ALL, about the slide. Rain or shine, she's content to climb up and freefall down until Mama or Dada say, "1 more time". I'm taking a little advice from my toddler. After I climb, enjoy every second of the freefall. Each, and every one.
