...that's what friends are for.

If someone would have told me a month ago that it would be hard to find a few spare moments to blog, I would probably have laughed and thought there is nothing that would hold me down. Well, let me just repent on my own behalf for being so naive. Baby, Eva, and new baby are the only thing on my mind these days, not to mention the only thing written down on my agenda. Sorry avid blog readers, I am trying my best to keep up.

The couple weeks after Eva was born, we had SO many friends and family stop by to see our little sack of sunshine. We also had friends stop by (and even stay over) so that they could bless us with food and company. I CAN NOT tell you how much this has blessed us. I say this out of an overwhelmed place in my heart where the words, "Thank You," are simply not enough. I would like to specifically give a shout out to Natalie (who stayed with us, cooked, cleaned, did laundry, and gave me a pedicure) and Tricia (who came over to hold my baby just so I could get a shower and have a minute to put makeup on).

Last, but certainly not least, is a list I've started to compile of the
"Expected" versus the "Unexpected".

Expected-dirty diapers, crying, baby paraphernalia throughout the house, breast feeding, staring contests, snuggling, waking up throughout the night
Unexpected-a broken heart while Eva is crying in the car seat, 24/7 body contact, outrageously sore bosoms
