Christmas '09 with the Bubble Blower

It's the first of many. The gifts are overflowing (and this was supposedly the first year of drawing names). We've visited all the relatives and eaten all the Christmas goodies. Deep breath, slow down, it's time to rest and relax. Eva had a lovely Christmas. Truth be told, I don't think she really realized what was happening, but she did like to rock out with Mama to Christmas music and dance the afternoons away. She makes me smile.

So... this is the run-down of our Christmas plans. Just when we tried to make things a little less hectic, they got even crazier because of snow...Christmas Brunch with mom, Christmas Eve Clams with Dad, Christmas day with the 3 of us, Sunday after Christmas with the Moists, and finally the Tuesday after Christmas with the extended Moists and Blyers. Whoa! There has got to be a way to cut back on the craziness! :)

Eva is officially sitting up on her own. It's a whole new world to her. I've been putting a couple toys by her feet and she goes to town, playing pretend and talking up a storm. Her favorite trick is to pull her pacifier out of her mouth and put it back in, and, when she's in a really spunky mood, she'll blow raspberries at you in the middle of a conversation. She is growing so fast. So many clothes that are too small, but many that are still too big. Ahh, sigh. I love being a mom. Merry Christmas 2009 to Brandon and me, mama and dad for the first time. There is nothing that compares.
