A Duggar Date

This is me. This is me on "date night". I don't usually do my hair like this, but apparently I was going for the "Duggar" look. If you don't know who the Duggars are, then you should click HERE. We get inspired by their gigantic family and their organized chaos.

Anyway, back to me, or rather, back to date night. My mom (babysitter connoisseur) agreed to watch little E while Brandon and I took a night on the town. Our night consisted of dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse (thank you Aunt Diane for the gift card) and then a dash to Wegman's. Stop right here. I've come to grips with the fact that the last place on our date has put me into the, "Definitely a Mom", category. But Wegman's is such a great grocery store and they sell the most Organic baby food around! Do I really need to justify to myself any more that it is OK to go to the grocery store on a date?! Maybe just a little bit.

Brandon's mom, Victoria, ended up in town for our date night, so she opted to join my mom for the action. Little E kept them scrambling with crawling, chewing on magazines, trying to pull down the lamps, and getting sleepy. All the things a good little 9 month old does. By the time we walked in the door, she was crying tears of joy for bedtime. I love the consistency of the 7:00 bedtime. She knows what to expect and we know what to do. The night flew by and to be honest, I think that we are almost ready for a whole day event. Like, Brandon and me, gone for the whole day. Our 5 year anniversary is coming up soon and if we don't spend it at the beach for a week (with Eva of course), then I think an entire day together would be a nice treat.

I've been running low on words lately. The weather has turned sunny and the stroller calls to me more than this blog. Can you blame me for wanting to be outside?! I would like to say, "HELLO", to my Great Aunt Lorraine (she lives in Rhode Island and sends all of these blogs to my grandma). It's so exciting to hear that people are reading my blog. Thanks for stopping by and taking a glimpse into our lives.

Cheers to the warm weather. Be ready, summer is going to bring lots of surprises!
