The favors greeted each little guest as they arrived at Eva's first big partaaaaay. Little buckets filled with Izze, party horns, silly bandz, bubbles, and paddleball. What more does a kid need to be bribed with in order to think this is the best birthday ever?!

"Attention everyone! I would just like you to know that it is my birthday. I know it's 105 degrees outside, but I greatly appreciate your willingness to come and celebrate with me."

Months before Eva was born I had the idea of celebrating her birthday every year with a Tiffany's Charm. When she is 18, she will have an awesome collection of meaningful symbols that Mama and Dada picked out with her in mind. To go with the Tiffany theme, her cake was crafted into a Tiffany's gift box and Aunt Kell, Tori, and Didi helped me bake and icing Tiffany lemon cream cupcakes for the guests. Deeeeeelish!

In my mind I tried to play out the "candle-blowing" part of the afternoon, but it wasn't even close to the grace that Eva displayed. What a natural! This picture shows how much she likes to entertain a crowd (insert 45 guests staring at her from the yard).

First her fingers poked at the fondant and next her mouth went straight for the icing. She's a natural!

Gift time. At this point I sound like I'm bragging, but honestly this girl has the 1st birthday party down to a science. Tissue paper went flying and a lot of "ohhh" and "ahhh" sounds were to be heard.

Hahaha. This picture makes me laugh every time. Long after the guests said farewell and Eva had changed out of her pink tutu swimsuit, this girl was exhausted! Her red cheeks and sweaty skin were ready for one thing and one thing alone, her bed!
