Travel Guide

Yesterday we embarked on a 12 hour drive to Franklin, TN. Eva is 20 months old and she was strapped into the backseat and excited to see Uncle Brad and Auntie Sara. On the grueling and loooooooooong drive, I learned a few valuable lessons:

7Eleven has the dirtiest gas station bathrooms. In fact, there isn't even a sign that says, "Restroom". They don't have paper towels. I had to hover the entire time. If there aren't paper towels, are the employees washing their hands before they handle your food???

Virginia is for Cows. Maybe the cows are the Lovers?

Portable DVD players and a Barney DVD are as important to pack as underwear and toothbrushes. Do NOT forget this.

Chickfila Restaurants often have play areas for kiddos. After long hours in a car seat, it's only right to let the toddlers run amuck after nuggets and waffle fries. Besides, who would want to pass up one of their delicious milkshakes?!
