Wowzer. I can't believe we are back from the beach. What a whirlwind of good times, bad times, and lots of sun. It's true, there were moments on vacay which I look back upon in exhaustion, but at least those moments were at the beach. Two babies and a side of stuffiness made it a rough couple of days for this mama. Aslan was pulling all nighters as he tried to breath through his stuffed nostrils. What a sad sound to hear in the middle of the night, your infantino trying to sleep. Let's put emphasis on the word, "trying". Anyways, I'm not complaining (although it sure does sound like it). A seven day, friend filled, ocean, sand, heat, sun, eat-a-lot, drink-a-lot, memorable vacation was what I do want to remember. I won't give you the play by play, but I will show you our week in pictures. Enjoy!
Our first family vacation as a 4-some.
Auntie Jo and Uncle Dave were a sweet addition this year. Eva would bring them home in her pocket if she could.
Solomon and Eva. BFF's for Life!
Our camp looked something like this. Brandon would pull the caddy to the beach every day. We filled it to the brim with our chairs and toys.

Too funny that Kells and I would both marry a "Brandon".

If I said that Eva didn't like the ocean, it would be an understatement. She was terrified of the waves. She did, however, look for seashells and share them with her besties.

I believe this is his, "It's hot as hell please get me inside" look.

The girls like to tan and chat. The boys like to play Bocce Ball.

This was the first time we have ever had a house on the sound. Brandon and Brandon took a jaunt down the pier every hour (ok, maybe not that often) to set crab traps. On Thursday, it was a seafood feast. Yum!

I am surrounded by the most amazing, inspirational, driven, women that I know. I'm blessed, I know.

Sunset on the sound. This was our view every night at dinner. Soak it in. Pure Perfection.

That baby looks so cute... You are so brave to take this big vacation with all your friends and babies. Bravo. And you all look so great.

I'm not so sure if brave is the word. Maybe naive? First timers? '
