This is Part 2. Read yesterday's post first if you have not already.
We left Target chanting, "Eva made a good choice! Eva made a good choice!", all while her eyes were beaming and her smile was from ear to ear. Let me back up.
After dinner we decided to tackle the store again, this time together, since there were still things I needed to buy. Sure, I could have run out alone, but now Brandon and I could tackle this as a team.
We went to Giant first, a typical in-cart trip. Phew! No complaints. Shopping done. Next, Target. Eva muttered "walk" under her breath a few times, reminding us that she had not forgotten the earlier trip.
We walked in, I grabbed a cart, and Brandon started to put her in the seat. Her desperate pleas and wavery voice started getting louder. I take a backseat approach and focus on putting the baby in the cart.
What's this? Silence? Brandon is whispering some type of logic in her ear, to which she sits calmly and becomes distractible. "Eva!", I interject, "Will you help me pick out a big box of crayons?"
And that...was it. Lesson taught. Teamwork in action. Ahh. All in a day's work!
Have a Lovely Weekend.

lol to T's comment. Nice work but I am really not surprised Eva has been raised to listen...she's a very good listener...so good job, but you've training up to this time for a while...
