Remember his favorites, the little stocking stuffers that make him tilt his head and whisper, "How'd you remember?"
Remember why you fell in love.
Remember the first date, kiss, the first meaningful conversation, and the only "I do".
Remember why sacrifice is worth it because the model you follow gave up so much more.
Remember the promises in tomorrow and the next day and the next day, all because you chose to make a life together.
Remember the circle on your finger, an elementary promise with college meaning.
Remember he loves you, even on days when you don't feel loved.
Remember your team work and how coming home to him is so much better than when you're alone.
Remember the way your kids' faces beam when they're being tickled, by him, and you get to sit and watch.
