It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let your selves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Gal 5:1
It's so interesting that in order to be "free" we have to "stand firm". At first, that seems to contradict itself, but then read it again. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let your selves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
In order to stay in freedom, we need to stand firm against the opposition, the yoke of slavery? If you are truly free, the enemy will surely put a target on your back and shoot slavery darts at you.
It may feel like darts of sadness or stress or shame.
It may look like darts of crisis or empty bank accounts.
It may sound like darts of chaos or gossip.
You may second guess what you heard Him say.
You may take a step back instead of a step forward.
You may deny Him 3 times.
But, STAND FIRM, because freedom is worth fighting for.
Being FREE is LIVING.
Have you ever tasted a sip of freedom? Have you ever walked a day in your shoes? Have you ever agreed with what He said about you?
Because all of those things are good. And all that you have is a calling, a declaration, a promise, for your life, that is GOOD! It's GOOD!
And if you don't believe it, you call me or write me, and I will declare it to you. Because He said it first.
He found you first.
He loved you first.
Happy Friday and cheers to living today FREE and ALIVE!

Once again, you've not only spoken RIGHT to me, but you've also quoted the Scripture I just meditated on, and painted the topic I have just been contemplating. Thank you, as usual, for listening to God.
