Right Where I Belong

I'm here. Right there actually. Over in that corner.
It's a peculiar place, unknown, yet peaceful and perfect.
Have you noticed the changes? Fall decor, lattes, and the leaves amongst the freshly cut grass.
It's not a waste of time to s  l  o  w down and take notice.
I made that sign for Brandon last year. Who knew it would be our cheer during the marathon.
Do you like those shapes? Those patterns and lines? You're invited to come over and see for yourself.
It still feels like vacation. Like we're playing a game called "house" and our "family" gets to live here until we roll a 5 and lose a turn. I mean, seriously. He gives from HIS abundance, not mine. Whoa!
 Shine.
You are. No one gets turned away. No one leaves without a turn. The revolving door has started spinning and may it never, ever stop.
There's freedom over there. Underneath that tree. In the pile of leaves at the bottom of the slide. In the sandbox filled with toys and of course, on that crazy bouncy horse. I dare ya.
This guy knows how to (rest) at home.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
