11:00pm. I crawl into bed. Exhausted. Brandon is brushing his teeth and taking out contacts. Texas AND Tenne scamper into the bedroom. Tenne, jumps on the bed (of course) and scurries up to my face for a goodnight lick. Texas, skeptical about the change in activities, waits until Brandon picks him up and places him on the bed. Here...is where it's gotta change. Texas does his "round and round" thing and lands right between my calves (I'm laying on my back). Tenne curls up to the right of my right arm. We have a DOUBLE bed. Can someone please convince my husband and I to take a weekend and go mattress shopping?! There is no way that we can add another being to this bed (especially a nursing baby). I can see it now...
1:00am baby wakes up. The dogs think they can stop the crying before I do.
3:am baby wakes up. The dogs take an interest in the act of breast feeding.
The bottom line (as Mike Stout says) is that the dogs need to sleep on their bed and we need a queen!
Help!

oh lord, I don't think I could ever go back to a double. We have a queen and love the space. Snuggling is awesome, but when i'm ready to sleep I need my space.
BTW your baby's due date is my birthday!
:)
i say the bigger the better! ahem~ no jokes.
but you definitely wanna have "space" to move around when you are dancing to salt and pepa and listening to hillsongs united
Queen, schmeen. Go for the King!! Then go to costco and buy two dog beds. Before I had a baby, I wondered how I could love a baby as much as my dog. Funny thing about dogs. It's amazing that after you have a baby you look at them and suddenly realize that ... they are dogs!
i agree with annette. you should go with a king. that way, if the dogs won't sleep in a dog bed, there will be enough room for you three and the dogs. and when the baby is a child, they can crawl in the middle of your bed when they have a nightmare and you won't be squished.
