A wake up called summoned us at 6am. Brandon and I rushed around to make it to Derry Street for our second annual yard sale. How can one couple collect that much junk in a year? I don't know. But we did, and we are happy to have cleared out Eva's room and cleared out the basement for construction. Brandon is planning a renovation to begin next week and be completed by our anniversary, May 20th. I'm sure there will be more details on that to come ;)Ethan and Kristen joined us for a morning of laughs and money making fun. If you can squint enough to see the flag behind the pink dresser, you'll notice a huge fruit basket. Ethan declared, "The Lord will bless this yard sale with a bountiful harvest in this year of famine." Thank you Jesus! He totally blessed us yesterday and we did sell! Hopefully by the time Eva gets here, she'll have a place to lay her head and a dresser to throw a couple onesies in.
I know this entry isn't too exciting. I've been enamored with watching my stomach and feeling her kick. Those things don't produce great blogging, but it sure has been fun. I can't get over this feeling of being an incubator for this real, alive, energetic, life inside of me. Crazy. Amazing. Powerful. Loving it.
