26 weeks. 99 days til delivery. 13 books on birthing and parenting underway. Friday night we ventured to Babies R Us to make our first baby registry. The evening started off sour when we pulled into the parking lot and all of the "Expecting Mothers" parking spaces were taken, but quickly turned sweet when Tonya and Josh met us inside to help with the excursion.
Let me just say, if you are having your first child and thinking about registering, take along friends who have been through the whole deal. Josh knew more about breast pumps than any woman I know. It was so helpful! Tonya passed on crucial wisdom about what to buy and what not to waste our money on. We even found a few new products that just came on the market (see bottle below) . Three hours later, the four of us left for sushi and good conversation. Nothing quite concludes a night of registering like the taste of raw fish. Mmm...
