Father's Day. Sunday. Brandon was celebrated for the first time as a new daddy. Grandpa Stout took us on a glorious tour of his flower gardens and I got to snap a few shots of the bloomers. We are 22 days away from my due date. We finally got a new vehicle (sold the Lexus over a month ago) and installed the car seat last night. Brandon thought it would be funny to put the car seat in the trunk and just worry about it when Eva comes! I quickly snagged our neighbors, who just had a little girl, and had them show Brandon the ropes. Ta dah, car seat is ready for baby.
I don't have too much exciting progress to report. The lower level is hours away from being finished. I'll post a few pics after we have furniture moved down. An awesome couple from our birthing classes have said they were willing to come tomorrow and help Brandon finish the last finishing touches. Thank you Jesus for friends (and family)! We would not have been able to get this done without them.
I've been reading as much as possible in my spare time. Dr. Sears has a great un-biased book called, The Vaccine Book. It gives good, sound statistics and advice on vaccinating (or not vaccinating) your child from birth through age 12. I've also been reading a book called, The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems, which was suggested to me by a friend, Tonya. She claims that it has changed her life, so I thought it would be worth the read. Eva is still doing kickboxing in my belly. She is starting to get so big. I can feel her back and know that she's in great position. Pregnancy is still a huge joy to me and so I anticipate that labor will be the same. It won't be long before Brandon is posting pictures...
