The First Pearly White

The drool has been in constant flow since about 4 months. As my friend Ethan mentioned yesterday, Proverbs is right when it says our, "labor is never in vein." All of Eva's hard work in the drooling department has finally produced...a TOOTH!!! She has a little edge poking through her gums on the bottom left of her sweet little mouth. She has been such a trooper. She doesn't seem to mind the teething. In fact, I have told people it's one of her only jobs, producing all the yummy saliva and letting it drip on the arms of innocent bystanders. It's a sure way to get your baby right back into your arms! ;)

In an effort to start solid foods, I found these mesh bags by Sassy, which are a wonderful solution for moms who want to feed their kids fresh food, rather than processed. Cook up a few veggies or chill some fruits, and then fill up the mesh bag for baby to suck on. It's perfect for Eva because she has been less than interested in being fed by a spoon. I'd almost use the word "hate" because when you see the faces she makes when you try to feed her anything, you understand that she just isn't ready.

For those that have been following my blog for a few posts, 2 of my friends recently had their babies! I couldn't be happier for their growing families and the joy that a new baby brings to a home. Welcome to the world little Noah and Ruele!
