I finished reading, Hope Beyond Reason, today. It's a book by Dave Hess, describing his victory in the battle against Leukemia.
There are numerous verses I could quote and a lot of revelations I received, but I thought this was striking (especially for the intellectualists I know). "The question "Why?" can open the door to necessary answer. Yet insatiable "Whys" can open the door to unbelief and close the door of hope. I don't think we will have all of our "Why?" questions answered here on the earth. That's what Heaven is for. What we need more than an explanation to satisfy our intellects is His Presence to satisfy our souls."
I had to read that last sentence a couple times, even once out loud. "What we need more than an explanation to satisfy our intellects is His Presence to satisfy our souls."
Have a Lovely Weekend.
