After writing my previous blog, I realize that I've left my readers (anyone?) without any daytime drama to laugh at. That's right, my life as a mom and what that has become. Let's take the 7:15 wake up calls, or squeals. Eva is completely in tune with the sun and moon, as she rises at exactly 7:15 each morning (trust me, I'm not complaining. It could be waaaay worse). How about the "get the dogs food routine". Every day I fill a dish with their food and then add a squirt of water. Eva waits in anticipation for me to shake the dish. She thinks it's hilarious (ok, I do sing a little song and dance a little dance at the same time). After nap time, it's time for her 3rd feeding of the day. Yes, I am still nursing. Yes, we've tried starting solids. Yes, she hates them. No, I don't think it's weird to still be nursing at 6 months. Ask me at 2 years and then we'll talk. The best friends, Texas and Tenne. They are extremely helpful to me when it comes to keeping the little one entertained. Maybe I need a shower or I want to clean the house. Puppy power(s) are there to save the day. Eva loves to watch the pups run after a toy or lick her hands to a pruny pulp. Lastly, let's discuss my lack of ambition to get dressed. Am I alone? Is it normal to go a day (or sometimes days) without getting out of comfy clothes? I mean, come on, they are really cute comfy clothes. With matching headbands! Staying at home, being locked up by snow or temps, has truly taught me the meaning of being content: completely happy wearing comfy clothes. To be continued...
