5K or Tummy Tuck?

Easter Day has come and gone. Eva was the cutest baby girl on the block (sorry, it's true). We spent the day with family and the sun lavished its rays upon us. It was glorious. Although the picture at the top isn't going to win any prizes, it is a picture of all 3 of us. It is so hard to get a picture with all 3 of us together!!!
In other news, I've decided to take on the pavement and start getting toned again...at least, that's the plan. Before I get preggo with baby numero dos, I'd like to lose this kangaroo pouch. Can I get an "amen" from any mamas out there?! Yes, I mean that pouch that wasn't there before you had your first baby, but didn't seem to fade away with the other loose skin after you gave birth?! Yes, that is what I'm talking about. So, in our household, it's health central for the next month and we are on a mission to lose pounds and tone muscle. On May 1, I am signed up for my first 5k. I ran in the Harrisburg Mile before I had Eva, and it was one of the more thrilling events in my life (no judgement please). The butterflies at the starting line, the jitters as racers streamed by me, the sigh of relief at the finish line...it was all very inspirational, educational, and also for a good cause (Autism Awareness). Bright and early on Saturday morning, I will be running 3.1 miles in the Dash for Diabetes. My grandfather on my dad's side and my grandmother on my mom's side both live(d) with Diabetes. Let's find a cure and run this race with all we got!

Although Little Eva looks like Daddy, she has a high dose of these ladies' personalities! Three cheers for Grandma Stout!!!
