Invitations-After browsing a few online selections for invitations, the creative side of me insisted on designing an invitation of my own. These playful postcards are "Tiffany" inspired and were a super affordable way to print and send.

Embellishments-The atmosphere at a party is something I appreciate and am inspired by. Eva may be turning 1, but the pics wont lie. I want her party to be shabby chic with a touch of Anthropologie. I'm not asking for much, am I?! I am working on this banner which will read, Happy Birthday Eva. I'm convinced I can hang it for each of her birthdays until she is 18 (if it doesn't get thrown away after next month).
Food-I like the cupcakes from this book Cupcakes but I like the flag embellishments from THIS blog. This Couture Cakery makes a chic first birthday cake that Eva could lick and smash and swallow.
Gifts-She's turning one. I think she'll be walking. She has a million and one books. She loves clothes. I'm honestly a little curious as to what a 1 year old needs. A big box? More cute, delicious clothes? A trip to the beach? Help me out folks! I would like to make her a Waldorf Doll and give her an easel. She could be the next Picasso or have a famous blog someday. The sky is the limits, right?!
I would love any and every suggestion that you can think of from all of your birthday party experiences. I know all of my friends are SO SO creative and I would love input. Please leave a comment and share your wealth of knowledge. There are so many cute ideas on the web too, but I don't have time to research it all. Soooooo, help a mama out. To be continued...
