More and more

I'm married to a man who works with a guy who is good at setting goals (follow that?). A few years back, my girlfriends and I decided to write down life-goals, in order to hold ourselves and each other accountable for accomplishing the desires of our hearts. And ya know what??? It worked. Having a scrunched up piece of paper at the back of my journal really does help to remind me to focus. It helps me to remember things I want to accomplish and things I want to start/stop. I've heard very inspiring women talk about changes and answers to prayers that they've seen in their lives, but none of these "Ah ha!" moments would come to pass unless they had taken time to reflect on what had happened over time, or their goals (as I'm calling them). As I read this verse, I reminded myself to not only reflect on the goals that I've set for myself, this day, month, and year, but also to reflect on what has happened in Eva's life since she was born.

I'm just starting to come to grips with life. The simplicity and complexity of life (yeah, this may be a rabbit trail...). A single cell, multiplies and God breaths an entire human and destiny into being. It really has far less to do with us than we think.

Anyway, like I was trying to say, this verse has made me reflect on Eva's life and my own. The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Psalms 115:14. As I'm taking the time to reflect on the "increase" that I've been praying for in Eva's life, I can already see God's promises being fulfilled. He is SO faithful!!!

So, what are you asking God for? What is going to increase in your life? In your children's life? Write it down. Make a point to remember, and I'd be willing to bet...that He'd be faithful.
