Tis the season...

...to be pregnant! When they say it's "in the water" I think it's moved "in the air". Lots of friends are with-child and lots of babies are to be born. My guesstamation is that baby #2 will show his or her face around mid-June. We have also possibly chosen a midwife! This makes me relieved, thrilled, excited and filled with anticipation for another divine birth. After giving a lot of thought to BirthCare (the center where I birthed Eva), we decided to focus on a home-birth this time. Although our experience at BirthCare was a-mazing...I don't want to do the weekly/monthly hour and 20 minute drive with Eva. The mid-wife that we are meeting with has a laundry list of experience, but more than that, she has felt like the right "fit" since our first conversation. More on this this topic after our first meeting, in 2 weeks.

On my to-do list from now until the new year: Take every moment captive. Remind me if I don't remind myself that these are awesome days ahead of us. Eva and I are loving the holidays, already playing Christmas music throughout the day. Tradition has it that we will be decorating on Thanksgiving, after our bellies are filled and our naps have been taken. This could just be, the best Thanksgiving and Christmas yet. In fact, I think it will be!
