I dare you...

39 and a half weeks. That's almost 40. That's days past the "safe" delivery dates. That's weeks before the "too late" delivery dates. Our To-Do lists have been crossed off. Brandon thought Azlan might be waiting until after his birthday (June 5). Next, he thought Azlan was waiting for us to get our new mattress. Well, the mattress has been delivered and we are sleeping with extra room...but Azlan is still no where to be found. Ok, that's not true. He's definitely here and he's definitely taking up a good amount of space in my uterus.
Super-Mama Tricia, over at A Seed Inspired, has taught me the ropes in "Daring Birth" to come. You start to get a little antsy and ready to meet your babe. You start to say things like, "Well, if you aren't gonna come, then I'm going to go to the beach and enjoy myself." You start doing things like throwing the football in the backyard and pretending that you really aren't that far along. You start planning loooong shopping trips to far off destinations.
Come on Azlan. I DARE you to be born. I triple dog dare you. Pleasssssssssse. I'll even reward you with a warm glass of milk as soon as you make your first appearance. Do I hear an, "Ok mama."?!

I dare him too!
It's a shame he knows what day his birthday and you don't get that info.
Of course he is easier to care for where he currently is.

AH. This is a sweet post.
Although I don't know if that will actually work. I dared Rue every hour of every day for 10 days that he didn't want to come out. A membrane sweep and some raspberry leaf tea coerced him.

He will come soon Sam!

Hey Sam, I think of you often! I'm so thankful and excited that you are about to birth a healthy baby boy through an amazing, supernatural labor and delivery! YAY! Health and life in Jesus' name!
