According to "KellyMom", a great website for nursing moms, I can consume an extra 300-500 calories per day to satisfy my babe's appetite. My post-preggo craves have been somethin' fierce. I can't say that I enjoy these midday and evening cravings (especially since I'd like to work on the baby-body that I've been left with), but I have had a keen sense for food/snacks/desserts, you name it.
Likes, as of, lately:
Mango Tea-Fresh tea leaves, courtesy of St. Thomas Roasters and Monin Syrups
Honey Nougat Decaf Latte-Ice, Decaf Espresso, Ghirardelli White Mocha Powder, Monin Hazelnut, and Almond Milk
CEREAL-I'm completely addicted. Breakfast, snacks, before bed, anytime. I've cut out dairy and thank God for Almond Milk. I had gone 3 weeks without cereal until I found the delicious substitute.
Arugula Salad with Cranberries, Feta, and Brianna's Ginger Mandarin
Avocado- in or on anything. The other day, an open-faced turkey sandwich on wheat with ranch, provolone, and thin slices of avocado. All grilled to perfection for a few minutes in the oven. Yummm!
See what I mean?! It sounds like I'm still pregnant, but let me assure you, I'm not. What are your craves lately? New favorite restaurants? I'd love to hear what you're eating in your home.

Loving the new blog! I'm going to be eating lots and lots of easymac. I'll have to get some turkey so I can make that grilled sandwich that you and I talked about last year. Love you!
me thinks you are dehydrated. are you drinking enough water...the fact that you are craving sugary drinks says that you are thirsty. i know I sound like a doctor (I just play one on tv) but you are nursing so drink drink drink. also I now want a sandwich.
xoxo
Oh I had religious cravings after all babies...it's like you have a barista in your bra....like a bra-ista... That says you need more of this and more of that to make a perfect blend.
