To Have Kids is to Be One

Hurricane Irene had nothing on our Sabbath. We had clear skies for the fair, and we even managed a couple loaves of bread before the droplets overcame our windows. I love days like today as much as the kids. Truth be told, maybe even more. I realized why grandparents love their role so much. Not because they can give the kid back at the end of the night, no. It's because they have one more opportunity to act like a kid! One more opportunity to blow bubbles and play dressup without looking like a weirdo.
Without further ado, our Sabbath in pictures:

Something happened today. You know when you pass by the FedEx truck for the millionth time? Only this time you see the arrow between the "E" and the "X" for the first time. It's that, "How could that have been there all along and I never noticed it?" moment. That's what happened this weekend. For the first time...to be continued...
