A Teacher Always Teaches

I re-read the title of this post on one of Kelly's pics. It was a picture of me and Solo, nuzzled together, reading the Bible. Ahh.

Another friend mentioned to me an idea about a craft day, getting the kids together to attempt a craft or maybe cook something yummy? The food part is my idea anyway.

Then, Tonya mentions that her Moms-Group meets every Monday to chitchat and get the kiddos together to play.

My mind has been racing with ideas. Eva is at that age where everything new has her completely captured. A new toy, a new word, a dance, recipe, anything new is her fix. She has to have it and learn about it and master it.

Maybe I should start some type of prepreK morning with kiddos in the Burg. Maybe we moms could switch houses and have a fun "lesson" for the kids. I know, for some the thought of this is probably boresville or exhausting, but I am still rolling the ideas around in my mind. A chance for me to teach?! :)

Now that you're in my brain, you will see where today's craft came from. I told Eva we were going to make shapes from her crayons. After some very, VERY, detailed instructions, we came up with this.

Voila! First craft success!
The ingredients: Old crayons, parchment paper (wax paper), iron, and ironing board.

She picked out a heart and a triangle.

Add the heat.

Ta-da! Refrigerator art success!
