I am wildly thankful for our village.
My brother cut walls down in minutes. He got the pool running (hallelujah), even after multiple failed attempts.
Zach rerouted plumbing and knocked out kitchen cabinets.
Josh knocked out 2 bathrooms.
Stan tore off trim and tack strips and hauled can after can to the dumpster.
Arielle trimmed the hedges around the yard, piled bricks, and peeled wallpaper.
Grace peeled wallpaper for 5 hours (!!!), dragged bushes and cleaned an entire shed.
Jeremy tore out, designed, and rerouted vent work. He cut massive amounts of bushes and vines and threw thousand of pounds into the dumpster.
Victoria took the kids to the park, fed them and gave them naps. She brought them to the new house and shared dinner with them and Didi.
My mom ran errands for pool supplies and kept the kids tonight while we finished the yardwork. They were bathed and in bed, on time, too!
The tears spilled out as I mowed the grass for the first time. I am so thankful. This is all such a beautiful picture of the village I'm surrounded by and what can be erected when we all work together.
