Sign Your Life, Pop Champagne, Knock Down Walls

Picture taken.

Popping the champagne.

And, we're off!

Last night, Brandon and I headed back to our new house to work from 10-midnight. Why not? We were high on adrenaline and my mom (she is a saint, helping out is totally her love language) was with the kids.

Built-ins knocked out.

The wall that used to separate the kitchen from the dining room is gone.

All those nasty, stinky, dark curtains have been thrown in the garbage.

The pool is open and crystal clear (I still don't really believe that we have a pool. Maybe if I fall in, I'll actually believe it.)

Carpets and padding are being ripped out as I type.

The pool shed is swept.

I started ripping out a weedy, flower bed. I had no success. I kind of slunk to the ground and didn't know what to do. I'll revisit that tomorrow.

So, there you have it folks. I need to get better at taking pictures of the before and after, my old iPhone 4 is partially to blame, the resolution is terrible and my screen is cracked in a million places.

It hasn't even been 24 hours yet! We're on a roll. Come anytime (no, really, come)!
