Called.
I'm calling you out.
I'm standing next to you, yeah, you, and I'm asking you to stand. Do it. Stand up.
You are really good. Really amazing at something. At a lot of things.
Now, who are you? Walk over and get out a piece of paper. Open up that cute tablet on your iPhone. Write it down. Describe yourself in 5 words.
Who. Are. You?
Giver? Thinker? Friend? Worshipper? Creator? Selfless? Lover? Mother? Teacher? Exhorter? Prophetic? Counselor? Cook? Builder? Healer? Who are you?
Let me tell you, that YES, you are what you wrote down, and NO, you aren't those things that slide into your mind and whisper accusation and defeat. Those things are a sorry attempt at slowing you down.
Don't Let Them. Don't GIVE in.
Remember in elementary school, the teacher would ask if anyone wanted to read out loud? And you REALLY wanted to, but no one raised their hand because it wasn't cool to raise your hand anymore. But then, the teacher called on you and you were LOVING the fact that you got to read out loud (ok, maybe this was just me, but work with it).
Well, sometimes in life we really want to do something or be someone, but we need someone to CALL US OUT and remind us of who we really are. Take THIS as THAT.
I'm calling you out.
Because really, you only live once and time is ticking. Let's not look back another day and see the potential that we let sit on the sidelines. GET IN THE GAME! YOU! STAND UP. IT'S YOUR TURN!

Seriously, your blog always cuts to my heart and makes me cry. In a good way.
God loves to use the "Little Ole Me's " as Randy Clark likes to say. Don't let the enemy make you think " Who Me?" God's voice doesn't sound like the accuser, or an older brother who wasn't particularly happy with having a little sister. It doesn't say "You can't do this. Who do you think you are? " like I felt a lot when I started to think God was calling me out to start the Center for Champions. And so many time the enemy would make me think, "you are the wrong one for the job, you are just the only one who said Yes..." But my sweet Jesus' voice would drown out his accusations. And His love eyes would speak to my heart and say "Come on. WE can do this thing. I will help you. I will hold your hand." And He always did.
Amen including the "want to read out loud girl" :) !!!
